Application
Type 1207 armored instrument tubing
provides the cut-through and crush protection of our Type 1206 armored "P"
tubing. An overall PVC jacket provides
additional corrosion and mechanical
protection to the armor.
High Quality Tubing
Dekoron "P" tubing is contained in each
bundle. It is tested for heat aging, ultra-
violet light protection, stress crack resistance, long-term dimensional stability,
insuring dependable service life.
Tube Identification
Number-coded tubes eliminate costly
guesswork in hookup and help coordinate
bundle installation.
Superior Armor Design
Modified square lock design more than
doubles the pulI-apart resistance of
most other armor designs. A thick zinc
coating, designed for demanding industrial environments, coats both the inside
and outside steel armor surfaces. Protective JacketThe plastic jacket guards the galvanized
steel armor from damage or direct
chemical attack. Bundle life can be
extended almost indefinitely in harsh
environments, and the PVC jacket is
inherently flame retardant.
Low Cost
Low Cost
Mechanical protection designed into the
Type 1207 armored ''P'' tubing permits it
to outperform many of the more expensive
metal tubing products, where pressures
and temperatures permit the use of plastic tubing. Practically all labor intensive
conduit insulations can be avoided.
How to Specify
Example: 1207-4075 Dekoron armored tube bundle with (7)
1/4'' O.D. x.040'' wall number-coded black low-density polyethylene tubes,
positioned adjacent and parallel, overall
galvanized steel inter-locked armor,
protected with a PVC jacket.
