Application
Type 1003 armored tubing bundles are
designed for a wide range of hydraulic
control or pneumatic instrument tubing
applications. It is the same basic construction as our type 1001 with the addition of a protective ''FR'' PVC jacket.
Ideal for direct burial installations.
Number-coded tubes eliminate
costly
guesswork in hookup and help coordinate
bundle installation.
Cabled ConstructionDesigned flexible enough to conform to
tight bends, yet individual tubes are
easily separated for fitting connections
after the armor has been removed.
Superior Armor Design
Modified square lock design more than
doubles the pull-apart resistance of most
other armor designs. A thick zinc coating,
designed for demanding industrial
environments, coat both the inner and
outer steel armor surfaces.
Vinyl Insulating Tape
A tape separator cushions tubes and prevents electrogalvanic action between
tubes and armor.
Protective Jacket
The plastic jacket guards the galvanized
steel armor from damage or direct
chemical attack. Bundle life can be
extended almost indefinitely in harsh
environments, and the PVC jacket is produced from a flame-retardant compound
which protects against fire propagation.
Low Installed Cost
Type 1003 can reduce the cost of
protecting most any multiple metal
tube installation.
